This carefully constructed youth violence crime prevention resource pack is about empowering our voice as the authoritative figure within the home and ensuring that we as adults continue to provide and facilitate the constant in our young people’s lives.

In short, giving adults the opportunity to talk about sensitive subjects where it may seem difficult or unsettling as we haven't the slightest clue on how to start the conversation. It is all too easy to allow the gap of independence that we afford young people to bridge into a canyon of disconnect, meaning that we have no idea what, when or how things are happening in their lives and with whom.

This pack comprises of a specially produced OT film, carefully thought out concise open topics along with informative resources to help have those difficult ‘discussions’ about county lines, sexual exploitation and even the laws related to drug trafficking so that young people are made aware of the consequences should they choose to partake in such dangerous and illegal activity.

Plus we have added covid-19 outbreak extension related lessons plans/activities which aim to discuss the correlating impact on the pandemic and county line activity.

The Real Ltd. resource pack on knife crime was powerful, I enjoyed sitting down with my son and educating him on knife crime awareness. It was very informative and easy to read. I felt like I was doing my bit. Keep up the good work Team Real.
